Local Clean Energy Meeting - Marin Community Choice

Marin County Supervisor Charles McGlashan says that Community Choice Energy is their most effective policy option for reducing greenhouse gases and creating business opportunities for their local green businesses. To implement Community Choice, they have set up Marin Clean Energy. They are currently doing community meetings and study sessions in towns across Marin with the intention of getting enough cities aboard to create a Joint Powers Authority for Community Choice in December 2008.

This month, the Communications Coordinator of Marin Clean Energy - John Corcoran - will speak to us about Marin's strategy, structure, and public outreach initiatives.

Please RSVP to daveroom@gmail.com so we have an accurate count for food. Thank you!
