LCEA organizers Nyah and Elsa have been teaching 11th grade students at Castlemont High School in their Sustainable Urban Design Academy program. They are working with the students to better understand our energy system and why it is important to build energy resilience in our communities.
The students will be working on group projects where they will design a resilience hub based on site visit observations from a Lion Creek Crossing, a multi-family affordable housing near the Coliseum area. It will be great to see the students apply what they learned in the classroom into tangible design for a community.
