Energy Efficency Talk and Local Clean Energy Alliance Meeting

It has been said that the cheapest kilowatt is the one we don't have to
generate. Energy efficiency is widely accepted to be cheaper than coal.
Yet it is not utilized to anywhere near its potential. The Local Clean
Energy Alliance hopes to change that in the East Bay.

We are pleased to announce that Barbara George, Executive Director
of Women's Energy Matters, will be speaking about boosting energy
efficiency programs at our LCEA upcoming meeting. She will speak about
how energy efficiency programs are currently administered, the issues
with that arrangement, and how it could improved potentially under a
Community Choice program. In addition, representatives of Rising Sun
Energy and California Youth Energy Services will speak about their
programs and how energy efficiency program administration could be
improved for better results.

These energy efficiency talks promise to be a very interesting and illuminating.

Please forward to interested parties...
